Activities - General information
TEDICORE's work ranges broadly and includes the following:
- collecting and distributing relevant information from industry, government and other agencies to consumers with disabilities
- discussing issues and reflecting the concerns of people with disabilities directly to industry and government
- representing consumers to meet their needs for the provision of suitable telecommunications equipment by telecommunications companies
- actively participating in the development of codes and standards
- making submissions to relevant government departments and agencies on policy matters
- actively participating in government and industry forums to raise awareness of issues of concern to people with disabilities
- developing close links between industry and consumers
- participating in relevant conferences and seminars.
